Design seating areas on the banks of the Singelgracht in the centre of Den Bosch, The Netherlands.
Design
This design combines jetty, bench and stairs all in one object. The design is based on the classic park bench. The way the angler positions his bucket determines whether or not he wishes to have contact with interested passers-by. Placed on the top step, the bucket serves to create distance, while its position on the lowest step invites passers-by to stand next to the angler and have a chat.
